What is GiveSolar?
GiveSolar is a nonprofit social impact organization that aims to assist homeowners with low income and other non-profit organizations in gaining access to solar energy through organizing community-based mutual aid.
We’re collaborating on a two-year project with the American Institute of Architects that aims to install solar on over 50 Habitat for Humanity homes across Virginia. Ultimately, we want to install solar on every solar-appropriate new home going forward, enhancing the disposable income of hard-working Habitat families, protecting them from future inflation in energy prices, and protecting the environment.

The Central Valley Habitat for Humanity builds houses with people who might not otherwise be able to afford their own homes.
